Module 7 : Wrapping it up

I have learned an incredible amount of information throughout this course. I feel like I have a far better understanding of special education in B.C. and how to support all of the students with special needs in my class.  While I feel like there are a lot of issues with our current system, I am encouraged by all of the people who are trying to push for change and I am excited to see what our system might become in a few years if we trend towards these new ideas. I am renewed in my understanding that building relationships with students is the most important step in creating a successful year for everyone. I am walking away with so many new strategies I want to try in my classroom and programs I want to look into further. I feel like this is the tip of the iceberg for my journey as there is still so much that I can learn. I can't wait to delve in deeper to some of the other courses I will take on my path through the Special Education program!
